The CM of Arunachal Pradesh in a recent move has called upon BRO to expedite the Balipara-Charduar-Tawang (BCT) road project. The CM has recently reviewed the status of the road project and has also assured the project executing agency every help including land acquisition financial concerns. The Chief Minister also discussed issues relating to land acquisition, compensation and various other concerns related to BRO roads within the Tawang district. In addition, he also directed the agency for quicker maintenance of road from Changprong to Tawang monastery via Nehru market, which is to be followed during the proposed visit of His Holiness, the Dalai Lama in March, he said in a statement.
