Arunachal announces 4-lane Highway Project

The state government of Arunachal Pradesh in a recent move has called upon the Regional Officers of Ministry of Roads Transports and Highways (MoRTH) to work out an action plan for the expansion work of the 4-lane Highway Project. The widening of the Highway starts from Chandranagar to Banderdewa and the ground work by the regional wing will help the road building agency to carry out the construction work in the border belt of the state, Chief Minister, Pema Khandu said, adding that on this score, he has already held a meeting with RO, MoRTH, Ashwini Kumar, wherein Chief Engineer, PWD Highway (Western Zone), Bora Ete and Executive Engineer, Nani That, were also present. In regard to this, he further added that the 4-lane Highway from Chandranagar to Banderdewa is all set to get sanction shortly and the construction work of the road is expected to start by November this year.
