AP floats tender for ₹1,150-cr rural roads
Andhra Pradesh Government is all set to float tender for the construction of new bridges and roads entailing an investment of ₹1,150 crore. The state government is modernizing 3,285 km of roads at a cost of ₹2,600 crore sanctioned under PMGSY and the tender for 2,300 roads have been finalized. For the rest, the tender will be finalized soon. The 2,400 roads are being constructed in the state at ₹3,300 crore and work on 2,300 roads are currently in full swing. The state government has sanctioned ₹59.5 crore for the construction of a bridge at Lankan villages on the Vashishta river bed at Udimudi Lanka of P.Gannavaram Mandal in East Godavari district.
