AP approves ₹6,455-cr infrastructure projects

In order to speed up the Mission Build Andhra Pradesh, the State Cabinet has approved ₹6,455 crore for various infrastructure projects to be awarded under the Jagananna Amma Vodi scheme. Projects will include purification of all the canals originating from Godavari and Krishna rivers, said Information & Public Relations Minister Perni Venkatramaiah. The State government will enter into an agreement with the National Building Construction Corporation (NBCC) wherever government land is vacant and it will be kept for sale; the money generated will be utilized for implementation of priority schemes like Navaratnalu, Naadu-Nedu and other infra projects.
