Adani’s Mumbai Airport Secures $750 Million Investment from Apollo

MIAL

Mumbai International Airport Ltd (MIAL), operated by the Adani Group, has secured a $750 million investment-grade rated financing from Apollo-managed funds, affiliates, and other long-term investors. MIAL, a subsidiary of Adani Airports Holdings Ltd (AAHL), operates Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA), India’s second busiest airport.

The four-year senior secured notes will primarily be used to refinance existing debt. The deal also includes a provision for an additional $250 million to fund capital expenditure and capacity expansion. This marks one of the largest private investment-grade transactions in India’s infrastructure sector.
