Adani Transport wins ₹2,020-cr contract in road sector

Adani Road Transport, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Adani Enterprises, has secured a ₹2,020.93 crore road project in West Bengal on the build operate and transfer (BOT) Toll model. The scope of work entails the construction of six laning of National Corridor NH-19 from Panagarh to Palsit under the Bharatmala Pariyojana. The concession period is 20 years including a construction period of 2.5 years. Including this project, Adani Group has a total of nine NHAI road projects under HAM, toll- operate-transfer (TOT) and build-operate-transfer (BOT)-Toll basis in Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Kerala, Gujarat and West Bengal. Meanwhile, Adani Enterprises along with its wholly-owned subsidiary company, Gare Palma II Collieries (GPIICPL) has also signed a coal mining agreement (CMA) with Maharashtra State Power Generation Company (MAHAGENCO) for the development and operation of the Gare Palma Sector II Coal Mine. The contract period is 34 years including mine development and final mine closure.
