Aaiji Group to Invest ₹100 Cr in Lothal Dholera Corridor
Aaiji Group has announced an investment of ₹100 crore to develop affordable residential and commercial spaces along the Lothal Dholera corridor over the next two years. The project aligns with the region’s rapid economic growth, driven by major tourism, heritage, and industrial initiatives, along with significant upgrades in transport and connectivity.

At Lothal, the National Maritime Heritage Complex is progressing as planned and is being developed to international museum standards. The first phase is scheduled to open in 2025, with the entire complex expected to be completed by 2028. The Lothal Dholera corridor is set to become a major tourism and economic hub, with Lothal creating about 2,000 jobs through the National Maritime Heritage Complex and Dholera expected to generate nearly 22,000 jobs from industrial and global investments. The complex will also include a Maritime University offering specialised degrees and international exchange programmes, encouraging academic study and supporting the development of local cottage industries.
Dholera Special Investment Region is simultaneously emerging as one of India’s leading industrial hubs. More than one hundred companies have already established a presence there, including Tata Electronics with its $10.9 billion semiconductor manufacturing plant and NEXTGEN Hightech Semiconductor. These large scale projects are expected to create thousands of high skilled jobs and drive strong demand for housing and commercial infrastructure. The corridor will gain further momentum with the upcoming Dholera Expressway scheduled for completion in 2025, the new international airport, the Dedicated Freight Corridor and the Vande Metro network, all of which will improve connectivity with Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar and major national trade routes.
