3 bridges on Bandar canal to ease traffic

Bridges On Bandar Canal
To decongest the Bandar canal, the Vijayawada Municipal Corporation is planning to construct three bridges on it. Minister for Municipal Administration P Narayana, recently inspected development works taken up by the Vijayawada Municipal Corporation and suggested for the speedy completion of the works.

The Minister, along with MLAs and officials, visited Darsi Pet, Ramalingeswara Nagar, Y V Rao Hospital road where proposals have been made for the construction of bridges. The Minister also inspected the high tension road near Mahanadu road, Pinnmaneni polyclinic road, Guntutippa drain at Auto Nagar, Vambay Colony.

Later, Minister Narayana said that the State government is giving top priority for Swachh Bharat and trying to make all municipalities free from open defecation by 2019.
