Renny Strips: Scaffolding, Formwork & Structural Steel Building Solutions

“We aim to be leaders in North India by offering quality products that set us apart in scaffolding, formwork, and structural steel building solutions. We produce hot-dip galvanized steel, which has a long lifespan and can be reused. This contributes to sustainability,” informed Sartak Gupta, CEO. “We focus on high-quality raw materials and ensure strict safety measures. This commitment reinforces our brand's reliability in the market.”
The company is producing green steel by recycling steel. It is also setting up a 22 MW solar power plant, which will supply approximately 40% of its energy needs, and will significantly reduce its reliance on fossil fuels, making operations more sustainable. “This initiative will significantly reduce emissions, bringing us down from the industry standard of 2.71 tons of CO2 per ton of steel to just 0.75 tons.”

“Reliability, robustness, and resilience are essential for the safety of scaffolding. Unfortunately, in India, traditional methods like bamboo scaffolding are still used, which pose serious risks. Our products are load-tested and assigned safety factors to ensure they meet construction industry safety standards. Every new product undergoes rigorous testing and design evaluation. Once tested, our R&D department makes necessary adjustments before finalizing the product for production. We have our own melting unit, which ensures control over the raw materials. With our 20 years of expertise, we have fine-tuned the processes to achieve the best output. This allows us to maintain high-quality standards,” said Gupta. “No doubt, having integrated facilities gives us better control over raw material costs, which are often volatile.”
The company is expanding its product range from 1,000 skus to 3,000 skus. “Our marketing efforts are directed toward digital media to enhance brand awareness and promote green manufacturing practices. Since 90% of our raw materials are produced in-house (we operate five production units), we can keep costs low and pass on the benefit to our customers. This makes our products competitive, both in India and in our export markets of Europe, U.S., Africa, and the Middle East.”
“The EU's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) tax comes into effect in 2026. Importers in Europe will pay taxes based on CO2 emissions. Since our emissions are among the lowest, our customers will pay less tax, making our products more attractive. This is why we are keen to expand in the European market,” revealed Gupta.
