Atlas Technologies Showcases Next-Gen Mobile & Stationary Asphalt Plant and Concrete Solutions

Atlas Technologies is strengthening its position in the road-construction machinery market with a renewed focus on mobile, modular, and automation-driven solutions. “The market for stationary plants has been strong, and while we have already sold many mobile plants overseas, demand from the Indian market is now emerging,” said Bhavesh Patel, Managing Director. “This year, we showcased our complete mobile range, including a mobile RMC plant and a mobile asphalt batching plant. The upcoming market is clearly leaning towards mobile solutions.”

The company manufactures a comprehensive range of asphalt batch mix plants (80–260 tph), equipped with coal burners for dryers and coal or wood-fire burners for hot-oil heating systems. Its portfolio also includes asphalt counterflow drum mix plants, mobile asphalt mix plants known for quick transportability, and supporting equipment such as bitumen drum decanters and pressure distributors for smooth material handling. On the concrete side, Atlas offers mobile and stationary batching plants, wet mix macadam plants, and portable mini batching plants for highways, urban roads, and airport runway projects.

Patel highlighted that Atlas’ mobile asphalt batch plants (MABPs) replicate stationary-plant precision despite being containerized and modular. “A stationary plant usually takes 20–25 days to install, but a mobile plant can be installed and started within a week,” he noted. The skid-mounted configuration eliminates the need for heavy foundations, reducing both installation time and project cost. Equipped with axles, kingpin connectors, pneumatic braking, road-safety lighting, pre-wired electricals, and rugged modules, these plants are designed for rapid deployment and seamless relocation even at remote job sites.

Cost-efficiency remains a significant advantage. “Since these are skid-mounted plants, normal PCC is enough to start operations. Customers save a substantial amount on civil foundations,” Patel explained. Atlas Mobile Drum Mix Plants deliver full rated production without permanent foundations, supported by durable components that withstand challenging ground conditions.

Automation is another area where Atlas is investing heavily. “We provide the latest SCADA-based control systems. From anywhere in the world, you can access the machine, check its data, and even handle certain issues remotely,” Patel shared. The system also includes predictive maintenance features that alert operators when a component is due for service, ensuring timely intervention and reduced downtime.

According to Patel, the company’s core strength lies in delivering the exact output it promises. “If we commit to 60 m³, the plant delivers a full 60 m³ on-site. Many machines only achieve 70–80% of their claimed output, but we deliver what we promise.” Every product is developed through detailed micro-level analysis using advanced software tools before entering production, ensuring reliability and performance consistency.

Atlas operates a large manufacturing facility in Mehsana, Gujarat, where its equipment is built under stringent quality standards. According to Patel, to maintain quality, prices will naturally be slightly higher, but the company never compromises on quality to reduce cost.

Reflecting on business performance, he shared that the company has seen steady growth year after year. Going forward, Atlas is preparing to introduce some new products. “We have developed a very compact asphalt plant model, and we are planning to launch a concrete pump. Our demo unit is already working successfully. Further developments are on the way,” Patel revealed.
