Sharp Ply enters construction formwork industry
Sharp Ply India announced its foray into the construction formwork industry with the setting up of its Variant Factory Ltd, at Excon. The company also introduced some systems such as the Varimax Column and retaining wall solutions, one-sided support system for walls, load bearing scaffolding tower, adjustable circular ring formwork, tunnel formwork system, VariTable for slabs, and the Handi system.
“Variant Factory is currently working in 32 nations, including India, where it provides solutions to construction companies. With constant support from our international partners in Ukraine, we are geared up to offer the best solutions that will meet our clients’ needs. For us, entering the construction formwork industry is going one step ahead in our core business sector by diversifying safely and increasing our range of products,” said Mr. Paras Kumar, Director, Sharp Ply.
Sharp Ply is currently supplying H20 Formwork beams and UpPlus® pallets for concrete blocks and brick manufacturing, with plans to expand its product range as demand grows. “We will be making more innovative and modified products for the Indian market with the help of our partners Mywood of Germany. Excon has been a good platform for us to announce our entry in the construction formwork industry. We have gathered a lot of market insights from the numerous product displayed and conferences at the show, and through meaningful interactions with visitors,” added Mr. Kumar.
