“We offer complete scaffolding, staging, and shuttering solutions in steel. Having established a strong base in the western region, we now plan to expand to other parts of the country. When it comes to formwork, there is no one size that fits all. The design varies from client to client and from project to project. And we are highly competent in this aspect since we have been in this field for over 32 years,” says
Kunal Aacharya, Director, Aadhar Equipments.
He adds, “We have 5 manufacturing units in Valsad, so when a big project comes up, we use all the 5 units so that we can deliver the order within a very short span of time. Our in-house team of engineers design products as per client requirements. Our expertise includes delivering good quality, defect-free products, within the time schedules. The scaffolding industry has moved from manual processes to CNC machines for processing the sheets, and there is very good industrial paint available now, so, we are able to ensure the best quality products and faster delivery.”
Expressing his views on the current scenario in the scaffolding industry,
Manan Desai, Director, Aadhar Equipments, says, “The rise in steel and fuel prices following the lockdown during the pandemic, has affected businesses a lot. Many contractors who cannot afford to get scaffolding designed as per their project requirements, are opting for ‘used’ scaffolding, but this is very challenging for them as every project is unique and needs a different kind of scaffolding. Then there are many international players coming into the market and increasing the competition. However, we at Aadhar, have many major projects and orders in hand. Presently, we are supplying to big contractors working in major projects in Western India such as metros, the high-speed bullet train, etc, and we are also exporting to Saudi Arabia and to some African countries.”
