A Riverside Mall Project was coming up in Chennai with a built in space area of more than 1 million sqft, one of the largest in the city. The Client wanted to go for the Formwork System, which best suited their requirement of completing the project in less time and get a good concrete finish keeping the investment intact.

After a thorough research, the Client decided to go with the Timber H-Beam Formwork which comes in the range of H-12 Beam, H-16 Beam, H-20 Beam and H-24 Beam and is relatively easy to handle, as they are less in weight and also ready to use, as no making is required.

The section of the H-Beam is "I" shaped which makes it structurally strong and economical in the long run due to high number of repetitions. It is manufactured at par with International Standards under strict quality control and quality assurance to withstand various loads during the construction of various activities. H-Beam is a unique introduction to overcome the cumbersome and costly procurement of timber. It has been designed to withstand multiple loads during construction activities. The members are made of seasoned ply by making the web and flange section of seasoned Pine Wood imported from Europe so as to make Timber H-Beam stronger and denser. Both the flange and web are hot processed by the wedge technology making it a composite versatile section. It is used for Column Box, Formwork Making, Circular Column, Wall Shuttering and for Beam Span Base Support.

Timber H-Beam formwork gave the Client the desired result with the execution of the Project happened in less time and added advantage of minimal Labor cost. They also found out that this system was very easy to use and the workers were easily adopting the system. Being dimensionally stable, it gives uniform Concrete finish.
