SUNWARD Industry City Starts Building World's Largest Foundation Equipment Manufacturing Base

SUNWARD Industry City is located in Changsha National Economic & Technical Development Zone and is set up by SUNWARD Equipment Group. This industry city is a new industrialization base for concentrated innovation system, manufacturing system, office, experimentation and testing system, and components enterprises. Constructed on an area of 1780 000m² with $700 million investment, SUNWARD Industry City would have a yearly output value of $310 million and profit after tax of $410 million.

The first phase of SUNWARD Industry City construction project covering about 700 000m² will produce piling machinery, modern drilling equipment, excavating machinery, and so on. It is estimated that the first phase project would achieve a yearly output value of $130 000 million and profit after tax of $200 000 million. According to the plan, the first phase of the project will become operational by 2012. The second phase of the project will be used to manufacture compact construction machinery, hoisting machinery, components and office center for technique, experiment, trial manufacture, and so on. Whereas the third phase of the project will be used for other relative enterprises and offices.

As SUNWARD development in group strategy, products and industry scope expansion, the new industry base construction is ultimately inevitable. After completion, SUNWARD Industry City will be the world’s largest foundation equipment manufacturing base and also the largest excavator manufacturing base in south China, besides being the largest equipment manufacturing base of Hunan.
