SUNWARD Forays into Latin American Equipment Market

Prior to this, SUNWARD reached an agreement with the Brazilian largest car dealer - SHC Group to explore Brazil and Latin American machinery market together. Shortly after that SHC Group undertook a monthly journey just to test the strength and quality of SUNWARD products and quickly placed an order for 190 equipments in one go. The order includes medium and large excavators, skid steer loaders and forklift with a market value of 40 million Yuan (about $5.9 million). In addition to these 30 construction equipments, the other 160 equipments will be sent to Brazil in two batches during August and November.
As envisaged in the signed agreement, accessory depots and products' exhibition centers are coming up in Brazil. In addition, 20 SUNWARD distribution centers are also coming up across the country. The move will help SHC to explore Brazil market on the basis of its existing well oiled marketing network. SUNWARD and SHC will together provide quality products and best after sales services. Both, the Manager and the President of SUNWARD, Fernando Ribeiro and He Qinghua are hopeful that revenues of the terminal market will reach $12 million by the end of 2010 and exceed $100 million in the next three years. This will subsequently pave the way for SUNWARD to be on top of the Brazilian construction equipment market's sales.
International sports events including 2014 World Cup and 2016 Olympic Games will be held in Brazil and the demand of construction equipments is bound to go up swiftly and SUNWARD products sent to the country this year may be used in the construction activities of these sports stadiums. Encouraged by the achievements made in 2010, SUNWARD will launch piling equipment, rotary drilling rig, rock drilling jumbo, pavement and lifting equipments in Brazil and is all set to exploit Latin American equipment market to the hilt.
