Tata Hitachi is a joint venture between Tata Motors and Hitachi Construction Machinery (HCM). The JV was established in 1984 – making it one of the longest-standing JVs in the industry.
Tata Hitachi has a manufacturing unit in Dharwad and another in Kharagpur, and over 240 customer touchpoints, including sales and services. It boasts of a diverse portfolio of mini excavators, construction excavators, mining excavators, backhoes, wheel loaders, and dump trucks, along with a wide range of attachments for numerous applications.
