Clients such as L&T, Divyashree Developers, and D L Kashyap & Sons, have grown accustomed to Sri Sai's high level contract performance on the back of their ever durable Cat fleet.
"The 325D is basically used for heavy duty moving of soil, soft rock and silt," Sri Sai's Class I, P.W.D Contractor, Mr P Raghupathi explained.

Choosing the new 325D came easy for Sri Sai as the company has a great deal of experience with Cat machines–notably a 424 Series 1 backhoe loader and a 320B hydraulic excavator which have been on fleet for 15 years.
"While similar machines are available in the market, the Cat 325D is a sturdy machine of very high quality," Mr Raghupathi said.
"It has a good hydraulic pump, an exceptional undercarriage and an excellent engine. To date I have not had any complaints with its performance."
Powered by Cat's C7 152 kW (204 hp) ACERT™ technology engine, the 325 D-Series machine delivers exceptional power and fuel efficiency for consistently high performance in a variety of applications.
Caterpillar's ACERT technology is combined with ADEM A4 electronic engine control management to produce the best performance per litre of fuel.
"Comparatively speaking, Cat 325D comes up trumps over other similar machines," Mr Raghupathi said.
"We have found the 325D delivers fuel consumption of 19 to 20 litres of diesel with a 1.6 m3 bucket capacity, while other branded machines are characterised by fuel consumption of 27 to 30 litres of diesel and bucket capacity production of just 1.3 m3," he said.
"To sum it up, no other machine comes close enough, be it price-wise, quality wise, and consumption-wise.
"I have the proud distinction of being the first person to purchase a Cat 325D in Bangalore and I can vouch for its winning qualities."
The 325D features a cross sensing hydraulic system which utilises each of two pumps to 100% of engine power, under all operating conditions. This means faster implement speeds and quicker, stronger pivot turns.
A boom and stick regeneration circuit saves energy during boom-down and stick-in operation which further increases efficiency, reduces cycle times and hydraulic pressure loss thereby leading to higher productivity, lower operating costs and increased fuel efficiency.
"Performance-wise output is higher than any other machine," Mr Raghupathi said.
"One should also not overlook the fact that fuel consumption is comparatively lower. The Cat’s superior quality also means fewer breakdowns and increased productivity and uptime.
"The 325D is proving an excellent return on investment," Mr Raghupathi said.
"Operating costs incurred are also lower compared to other machines. For instance, the hydraulic oil needs to be changed every 1500-2000 hours in other branded machines, whereas the Cat 325D allows 4000 hours with no problem.

Mr Raghupathi said the 325D's longer maintenance intervals are complemented by best practice service and parts support.
"Prompt service and repairs are carried out by GMMCO, the local dealer. In case of breakdown qualified service engineers visit our sites even at odd hours to carry out repairs," Mr Raghupathi explained.
"Spare parts are stocked and readily available and if not, they are flown in from Singapore, so I can count on dealer reliability to get the machine on the road as early as possible.
"The expected life of a Cat machine is very long and the resale value is also high compared to other machines," Mr Raghupathi said.
"When there are so many advantages, who would want to sell? I would not consider selling mine."
