Bobcat launches its new E27 R Series Mini Excavator
Doosan Bobcat unveiled its new E27 R Series Mini Excavator at bauma Conexpo India. Also on display were the company's Skid Steer Loaders, Compressors and various attachments. At this occasion, HW Park, President, Doosan Bobcat Asia, Latin America & Oceania also handed over the key to the first customers of Bobcat E27 - Sameer and Muralidharan from Kerala who already own 2 units of E26 excavators, and the key of the Portable Power LEK 1.4 light tower was given to R.L. Kashyap, Vice President, Purchase of GR Infra Pvt. Ltd.
The E27 R-Series Mini Excavator offers best-in-class mix of high digging forces, superb stability and smooth controllability of working functions, complemented by low weights for easy transportation. Excellent machine fit and finish plus new ground-breaking design features make the new Bobcat R-Series unique on the market.
The standard machine comes with a steel track and an optional rubber track depending on the operating ground conditions. Long Arm is again a standard in E27 and offers best in class digging depth and reach among the 2-3 ton Mini Excavators in the Indian market. Dozer blade float function is a standard feature in the E27 and enables easy ground leveling for landscaping and finish grade applications, as well as more efficient jobsite clean-up.

Two Speed travel is a key feature of Bobcat mini excavators and E27 has a max speed of 5.1 km/hour, the highest in the 2-3-ton category. Manual two-speed function improves jobsite maneuverability with precise control by balancing travel speed with the torque needed for turning and traveling on inclines.
Bobcat E27 is equipped with smooth responsive hydraulics that give the level of control demanded by customers in any application, from fine grading and dozing to backfilling. Powerful bucket and stick digging forces combined with fast cycle times result in high productivity and performance.
Fuel efficiency and lower operating costs are the top priorities for Bobcat. The E27 which is a 2.7-ton Mini Excavator is powered by 25 hp engine and comes with the standard Auto Idle and electronic throttle control, one of the key features of Bobcat Mini Excavators. This helps in lowering engine rpm to idle when not in use, resulting in better fuel efficiency and cost savings.
In the demo area, Bobcat’s expert operators enthralled the audience with their maneuvers to show the versatility of the Skid Steer Loaders with 9 attachments, the S650 fitted with Motor Graders and S450 with multiple attachments like Grappler, Auger, Hammer, Multipurpose bucket, Backhoe Attachments, Pallet Fork, and performed various applications with precision
ROPS & FOPS cabin with suspension seat and the in-built easy to use fingertip hydraulic controls makes E27 operator-friendly, together with safety and productivity. Improved boom light with additional LEDs on the canopy increases visibility, resulting in better productivity when working at night and in enclosed work areas.
