Window Magic has been selected as the trusted partner for the Hulhumalé Phase II Social Housing Project in the Maldives, commissioned by Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation (FDC).

As part of the Maldives’ major affordable-housing push, Window Magic has completed the installation of engineered uPVC doors and windows across 1,400 three-bedroom units, enhancing durability, comfort, and safety for future residents.

Located in Hulhumalé Phase II, one of the country’s largest urban expansion zones, the project forms a key component of the government’s Gedhoruveriya Housing Scheme, which aims to deliver modern, sustainable homes to thousands of families. Senior Maldivian officials, along with the Indian High Commissioner, recently reviewed the project and acknowledged the growing India–Maldives collaboration in housing infrastructure.

Executed in partnership with NBCC and VCL, the project represents a strong Indo-Maldivian cooperation model in sustainable construction and urban development. As the chosen fenestration partner, Window Magic has been entrusted with designing and installing uPVC systems that can withstand the region’s saline, humid, and high-wind coastal conditions while ensuring thermal insulation and energy efficiency.

Speaking on the achievement, Manish Bansal, Director & CEO, Window Magic, said, “We are honoured to contribute to one of the Maldives’ most meaningful housing initiatives. Our uPVC solutions are engineered to enhance durability, sustainability, and comfort - qualities essential for coastal developments. This partnership reflects our commitment to building better communities and supporting governments in delivering quality living environments.”

Speaking on the achievement, Varinder Kumar Garg, Chairman, VCL, said, “Working with Window Magic on this landmark housing project has been a collaborative effort driven by shared values of quality, engineering expertise, and timely execution. Their advanced uPVC window and door systems add significant value to the project, especially in a coastal environment like the Maldives, where durability and performance are critical. Together, we are proud to be contributing to a development that will positively impact thousands of families and set new benchmarks for sustainable community housing.”
