Welspun Enterprises wins ₹2, 004-cr highway contract

Adding to the project portfolio in the country’s road and highway sector, Welspun Enterprises in a recent development has received the Letter of Award from National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for the construction of four laning of Sattanathapuram to Nagapattinam section of NH-45-A (New NH -332) in Tamil Nadu under National Highway Development Phase-IV on Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM) model. The consortium led by the contract winning company will develop the project at a bid project cost worth ₹2,004. 51 crore and the project commands a construction period of two years from the appointed date with operation and maintain cost (O&M) for the first year is ₹5 crore, said an official spokesperson.
