Valecha bags Rs.240 cr Chikhli-Bhokardhan road contract

Strengthening its order book in the road sector, Valecha Engineering, has recently bagged a road project entailing an investment worth Rs 240 crore from Public Works Department of the state government of Maharashtra, said an official spokesperson, elaborating that the scope of work in the project involves the rehabilitating and upgrading of Chikhli - Bhokardhan NH-753 and connecting the same with Talegaon - Jalna NH-753(A) in the state. The scope of work also includes the upgradation of the highway stretch into two lanes with paved shoulder Package-II (Ohad to Bhokardhan to Sillod) section of NH-753 (M) under the engineering procurement and construction (EPC) model, the spokesperson claimed.
