UPEIDA Prepares for Nine New Expressways in UP

The Uttar Pradesh Expressway Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) has finalized proposals for nine new expressways, with an estimated investment of ₹20,000 crore. These expressways will span 2,096 km and aim to boost connectivity and industrial growth in the state.
Currently, UP has several operational expressways, including the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, Yamuna Expressway, Agra-Lucknow Expressway, Purvanchal Expressway, Bundelkhand Expressway, and Meerut-Delhi Expressway. Several others are under construction, such as the Gorakhpur Link, Ganga, Chitrakoot Link, Delhi-Saharanpur, Ballia Link, and Lucknow-Kanpur Expressways.
The newly proposed expressways include the Lucknow Link Expressway, Farrukhabad Link Expressway, Jewar Link Expressway, Vindhya Expressway, Meerut-Haridwar Link Expressway, Chitrakoot-Rewa Link Expressway, Gorakhpur-Siliguri Expressway, and Gorakhpur-Shamli Expressway.
