UP steers clears ₹6,000 cr food-park in Noida

Adding to the NCR’s food processing program, the government in UP has given go-ahead to Patanjali Ayurved to transfer its land to its subsidiary company in Greater Noida for setting up a ₹6,000 crore mega food park on the outskirts of national capital. In this connection, the state cabinet has decided to add the name of Patanjali food Ayurved to the allotted land while keeping the other terms and conditions of the project same and that the move enables Patanjali to meet the Centre’s deadline to fulfill its various conditions, including acquisition of land, for the final nod to set up the food park, said official sources, claiming that conditions that are being questioned include acquisition and transfer of land in the name of Patanjali Ayurved’s subsidiary. The company wanted to transfer 91 acres of this land to its subsidiary Patanjali Food and Herbal Park Noida to set up the much talked about mega food park.
