UP RERA Approves 35 Real Estate Projects Worth Rs 9,000 Cr Across Uttar Pradesh

The Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP RERA) has approved 35 real estate projects worth Rs 9,000 crore in the past month, signaling robust growth in the state’s housing and commercial sectors. The approvals span major cities in the NCR region as well as emerging hubs like Ayodhya, Jhansi, and Moradabad, reflecting a push toward balanced regional development.

In the first week of October 2025, UP RERA approved eight projects worth Rs 1,948 crore, adding 3,005 residential and commercial units. A week earlier, 21 projects valued at Rs 7,035 crore were cleared, contributing 10,866 new units to the state’s real estate inventory.

These approvals are expected to boost employment in construction and allied sectors, including cement, steel, and home décor, while supporting the state’s vision for sustainable urban growth and affordable housing expansion.
