UP Govt Allots Land for Rs 11,000 Cr Electronics Manufacturing Projects in Yamuna Authority Area

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath handed over land allotment letters for three major electronics manufacturing projects worth Rs 11,000 crore in the Yamuna Authority area, marking a significant push towards semiconductor and electronics localisation.

The allocations include 48 acres to India Chips Pvt Ltd, the HCL–Foxconn joint venture, for a Rs 3,706 crore semiconductor manufacturing unit; 16 acres to Ascent Circuit for a Rs 3,250 crore PCB facility; and 100 acres to Amber Enterprises for electronics manufacturing with an investment of Rs 3,532 crore.

In addition, Bodhisatva Trust has been allotted 20 acres for establishing a medical college with an investment of Rs 532 crore.

The state government said the projects will boost domestic manufacturing, create employment opportunities and strengthen Uttar Pradesh’s position as a major electronics and semiconductor hub.
