UP Approves Master Plans for Noida & YEIDA Development Till 2041

The Uttar Pradesh government has approved two master plans outlining development projects by the Noida Authority and Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) over the next 15 years.
Noida Master Plan 2041 focuses on expanding the Dadri-Noida-Ghaziabad Investment Region (DNGIR), also known as New Noida, the plan involves land acquisition from 80 villages in Gautam Budh Nagar and Bulandshahr districts. Development will occur in four phases: Phase 1: 3,165 hectares by 2027; Phase 2: 3,798 hectares by 2032; Phase 3: 5,908 hectares by 2037; and Phase 4: 8,230 hectares by 2041.
YEIDA Master Plan covers 55 villages in Bulandshahr and 131 in GB Nagar, the total area now spans 769 sq km, up from the initial 583 sq km. The YEIDA region’s population is expected to reach 37 lakh by 2041.
A key focus of the plan is the expansion of the aviation hub around Noida Airport in Jewar, with the airport area increasing from 5,000 to 6,286.7 hectares. This includes setting up aviation-related industrial units, such as aircraft engine manufacturing.
The master plans designate 40% of the land for industrial use, 13% for residential development, 18% for green spaces, 8% for institutional areas, and 4% for commercial zones. Approximately ₹1,000 crore has been allocated for land acquisition, and the new city aims to house around 6 lakh residents.
