Union Cabinet Approves 78-Day Bonus for Railway Employees

The Union Cabinet, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has approved a productivity-linked bonus (PLB) of 78 days for 11,72,240 railway employees. The bonus, amounting to ₹2,028.57 crore, will be paid to various categories of staff. This incentive is aimed at motivating railway employees to enhance the performance of Indian Railways.
