IRC and TAI Sign MoU to Strengthen Knowledge Sharing in Tunnelling and Infrastructure

The Tunnelling Association of India (TAI) and the Indian Roads Congress (IRC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during the IRC Council Meeting held in Goa, marking a significant step towards promoting technical collaboration and knowledge sharing in tunnelling and infrastructure development.

The MoU aims to foster collaboration in knowledge dissemination, technical training, conferences, workshops, research, publications, and the development and dissemination of best practices in tunnelling and underground infrastructure. The partnership will contribute to strengthening professional capacity, promoting innovation, and supporting the development of safe, sustainable, and world-class transportation and underground infrastructure in India.

The MoU was signed by Shri R. K. Dhiman, VSM, AVSM, President, TAI and Former Additional Director General, Border Roads Organisation (BRO) and Shri Rahul Gupta, Secretary General, IRC & Additional Director General, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH) in the gracious presence of Shri Digambar Kamat, Hon'ble Minister of Public Works Department (PWD), Government of Goa. Shri Sandeep Kumar, Treasurer, TAI & Director (Water Resources) CBIP, was also present on the occasion.
