Triputi gets ₹624-cr 6-km long elevated corridor

Elevated Corridor
The state government's agencies have fast tracked construction work on the 6-km long elevated expressway corridor at an investment of ₹624 crore. The project has been taken up jointly by TTD and Municipal Corporation of Tirupati (MCT) and is likely to be completed in the next two years. The project will ease traffic problems, especially at Padmavathipuram Circle, Srinivasa Kalyanamandapam, Lakshmipuram and Ramanuja circles. Pilgrim vehicles coming from Chennai, Bengaluru and Vijayawada and heading towards Tirumala via Tiruchanur-Tirupati road are facing traffic snarls as a major portion of the flyover construction is also going on in between Ramanuja Circle and Srinivasa Kalyanamandapam Junction. This is also impacting road users in localities like Tiruchanur, Yogimallavaram, Vaishnavi Nagar, Tanapalli, Padipeta and Daminedu.
