flyover
The long-stalled Thakurli elevated flyover project in Dombivli is finally set to resume after nearly seven years, offering major relief to commuters facing daily traffic congestion. The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has floated a Rs 36 crore tender to complete the remaining stretch of the flyover from Thakurli Railway Phatak to Mahsoba Chowk.

Once completed, the parallel route connecting Kalyan and Dombivli will become fully operational, easing pressure on the heavily congested internal roads of Thakurli and significantly improving travel time for residents.
