Telangana takes up 100-acre township

In an attempt to build top-class urban infrastructure in and around the city, the Tellapur Techno-City Project Limited (TTPL) and Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) in a joint venture, have decided to build first 100 acre integrated township at Tellapur in Ranga Reddy district of Telangana. The municipal administration department approved the project for which the HMDA will provide land and some infrastructure facilities including roads, drinking water, sewer lines and electricity to the maximum cost of Rs.50 crore for the township, the developer will construct the township, HMDA commissioner T Chiranjeevulu said. In view of the fact that the project is near the financial district and also the new IT corridor, a huge demand is expected for the residential and commercial spaces in the township. Before starting the construction activities, the developer will submit a master plan to the HMDA for mandatory approvals, he added.
