Tata Power Plans 100-MW Solar Plant in GIDA’s Dhuriyapar Region, Seeks 500 Acres
The Dhuriyapar region under the Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority (GIDA) is set to attract major industrial investment, with Tata Power proposing a 100-MW solar power plant. The company has sought 500 acres from GIDA for the project. A high-level meeting between Tata Power and GIDA officials has already been held, followed by a site inspection. GIDA is now fast-tracking the land transfer process, which is expected to be finalised soon.
