Tata Power Odisha & Delhi Discoms Honored on Lineman Diwas 2025

Tata Power Odisha and Delhi Discoms received national recognition as their linemen were felicitated by the Central Electricity Authority (CEA) on Lineman Diwas 2025 in New Delhi.

Operating across Odisha, Delhi, Mumbai, and Ajmer, Tata Power’s Discoms serve 12.5 million consumers, ensuring reliable and affordable electricity supply to both urban and rural areas.

A special recognition segment honored four high-performing Discoms and five Best Linemen. Among the awardees were Ladu Kishore Pradhan from TP Central Odisha Distribution Ltd. and Jai Hind from Tata Power-DDL for their outstanding contributions to power distribution and service reliability.

The event saw participation from over 160 linemen and linewomen representing 45 state and private power distribution, generation, and transmission companies across India, including Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chandigarh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Haryana, Jharkhand, Jammu & Kashmir, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and West Bengal.
