SYSKA lighting invests Rs.170 cr in M'rashtra

Extending a helping hand to the government's initiative of Make in India drive, SYSKA Group has set up three manufacturing units for its lighting products entailing an investment of Rs.170 crore. A home grown brand with its headquarters in Pune, SYSKA is one of the few companies in the sector to invest heavily to start manufacturing in Shirwal, Rabale and Chakan area of the Maharashtra state. Its LED lights promote the creation of sustainable environment and also adoption of energy efficient lights in line with government's mission of Make in India for providing efficient eco-friendly lighting solutions. The manufacturing plants will have a humongous production of lightings varying from bulbs, tube lights, panel lights including industrial lights and so on, said, Director, Rajesh Uttamchandani, adding that the company is constantly trying to envisage and prioritize investments in India with the aim to generate employment opportunities. SYSKA currently has three manufacturing units in the country and is planning to invest in a few more plants in the near future. It has invested about Rs.150 crores in the Shirwal plant, which is a mega project under the 'Make in India' initiative of the Central government.
