Standard Chartered, CII IGBC Partner to Finance Green Buildings
Standard Chartered and the Confederation of Indian Industry – Indian Green Building Council (CII IGBC) have signed an MoU to promote financing of green buildings in India.

The partnership aims to accelerate the adoption of energy-efficient building solutions and support India’s goal of reducing its overall carbon footprint. This collaboration marks a significant step toward lowering emissions from the construction sector by encouraging sustainable and eco-friendly buildings.
