South Eastern Railway Awards ₹191.53 Cr Contract to RVNL

South Eastern Railway has awarded Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) a ₹191.53 crore contract. RVNL will handle the design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of a 132 KV traction substation and ancillary posts on the Rajkhaswan-Nayagarh-Bolani section. The project, aimed at supporting a 3000MT loading target, is set for completion in eighteen months. RVNL emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for the contract, which involves work on the 2x25KV system in the Chakradharpur division.
