Sinoboom Unveils Dual-ETM Smart Technology to Boost Battery Efficiency of Electric Boom Lifts at CONEXPO 2026

Sinoboom introduced its new Dual-ETM Smart Technology during a press conference on the opening day of CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026. The technology is designed to significantly extend battery endurance in electric boom lifts while improving operational efficiency.

Dual-ETM Smart Technology integrates high-specification components that work together to calculate optimal power usage in real time. The system delivers the precise amount of power required during operation, preventing unnecessary energy consumption often seen in systems designed for maximum power demand.

By optimising energy management and reducing wasted power, the new technology is expected to enhance the working efficiency and runtime of electric boom lifts, supporting more sustainable and productive operations in the aerial equipment sector.

A number of sensors – pressure, weight, length and level – work in tandem to feed information back, and a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) boosts the oil pump drive system’s efficiency. Multi-valve control, managed through a CAN-bus system, reduces flow loss and enhances control precision. The result is a significant energy-saving effect, tested thoroughly in real-life working scenarios, in which boom lifts equipped with Dual-ETM Smart Technology performed with 30% lower total energy consumption and 30% longer endurance compared to identical boom lifts with standard systems.
