SEC clears ₹1.18 lakh-cr investments for renewable energy in Rajasthan
State Empowered Committee (SEC) has recommended six projects in Rajasthan for consideration of a special package under the state's investment promotion scheme covering sectors like energy, textile and manufacturing. It planned to open doors for ₹1.18 lakh crore investment in areas like renewable energy, including generation of 10 GW wind hybrid renewable energy projects with proposed investment of ₹40,000 crore. It also included an integrated renewable energy storage project to be developed with ₹30,000 crore investment. Apart from this, it also planned to generate 10 GW solar power projects involving an investment worth ₹48,540 crore. All these projects will be executed in a phased manner.
