In a recent development, NHAI has issued Letter of Award (LoA) to Ahmedabad-based Sadbhav Infrastructure Project Ltd (SIPL) for executing the four-lane project of 13-km stretch at Sheelanagar-Sabbavaram road at an investment of Rs.549 crore. The projects would be built under Bharatmala Project on hybrid annuity model for which around 80 hectares land is needed for completing the project. More than 90% of the land acquisition process has been completed for project in question. NHAI regional project director A. Srinivasa Rao said that the civil works of the road extension are going to commence shortly as the project in question is likely to be completed within the next two and half years.
