S. Pallonji takes up projects in Nairobi

Shapoorji Pallonji Real Estate has entered the Kenyan market with plans to build a multi-billion shilling estate in Nairobi. The Mi Vida Homes project at Nairobi‘s Garden City Mall on Thika Road will be developed through a fund established by the company and its joint venture partner Actis. The partners will develop 624 apartments, at a selling price of Sh6 million for 1bhk; Sh9 million for a 2bhk and a 3bhk for Sh14 million. Mi Vida Homes project‘s chief executive Chris Colson said that the partners will be opening an experiential facility on the site to showcase the homes to prospective buyers. Mi Vida (Spanish for my life‘) will be built in three phases; the first phase will see construction of two blocks housing13 floors and 208 units, and will be completed in 26 months at a cost of Sh6.5 billion and funded by the developer, informed SPRE chief executive Venkatesh Gopalkrishnan.
