The Centre has approved an elevated railway track project worth ₹224.58 crore for Kurukshetra. MP Nayab Singh Saini in an official statement stated that construction work is set to start soon and provision for funds has been made in the current budget. The cost of the project has been evaluated by the chief engineer of the planning and development department and handed over to the railway ministry late last year. The foundation stone of the project will be laid by the Haryana CM.
