RVNL Wins Rs 95.27 Cr Railway Track Refurbishment Contract from NMDC in Chhattisgarh

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited has received a Letter of Acceptance from NMDC Limited for railway infrastructure refurbishment works at its mining facilities in Chhattisgarh.

The contract, valued at Rs 95.27 crore including 18 per cent GST, involves refurbishment of the permanent way of NMDC’s railway sidings and mobile equipment tracks. The scope of work also includes maintenance of track infrastructure at NMDC’s operational facilities in Kirandul and Bacheli.

The project focuses on upgrading railway track infrastructure used for mineral transportation and operational logistics at NMDC’s mining locations. RVNL will execute the contract over a period of 36 months under the general contract conditions specified by NMDC.
