RVNL Secures ₹186.76 Cr Contract from East Central Railway

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has won a ₹186.76 crore contract from East Central Railway as the lowest bidder (L1). The project involves the supply, construction, testing, and commissioning of traction substations and associated switching posts to upgrade the electric traction system from 1x25 kV to 2x25 kV AT feeding system in the Gomoh-Patratu section of the Dhanbad division. The project is scheduled for completion within 18 months.
