RVNL Secures Bid for Rs 132.59 Cr Project of Central Railway
Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd. (RVNL) has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for an upgradation project awarded by Central Railway. The project involves modifying the Overhead Equipment (OHE) for upgrading the existing 1x25 kV electric traction system to a 2x25 kV AT feeding system in the Wardha-Ballarshah section of the Nagpur division. This upgrade aims to support a loading target of 3000 MT. The project is valued at Rs 132.59 crore and has a stipulated completion timeline of 24 months.
