RVNL Bags ₹213.22 Cr South Central Railway Contract for OHE Upgradation in Andhra

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from South Central Railway for the upgradation of the Overhead Equipment (OHE) system across 195.5 route kilometres (RKM) in the Duvvada–Rajahmundry and Samalkot–Kakinada Port sections of the Vijayawada Division, Andhra Pradesh. The total contract value is ₹213.22 crore.

This project marks a significant step in RVNL’s ongoing efforts to modernize railway infrastructure, improve electrification efficiency, and bolster national connectivity through enhanced rail operations in key regional corridors.
