₹1,012 Cr Highway Projects Approved in Madhya Pradesh & Haryana

The Central government has approved two highway projects worth ₹1,012 crore in Madhya Pradesh and Haryana, as announced by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari.

In Madhya Pradesh, ₹531.84 crore has been sanctioned to upgrade a 63.5-km stretch of National Highway-34 from Shahgarh to Damoh via Buxwaha and Narsinghgarh. The project will widen the road to two lanes with paved shoulders, construct five major bridges, and develop four bypasses at Buxwaha, Bhetera, Narsinghgarh, and Pipariya Champat. Additionally, 1.3 km of service roads will be built in urban stretches of Damoh.

In Haryana, ₹480.44 crore has been allocated for a 49.02-km four-lane section of National Highway-248A, connecting Nuh to the Rajasthan border via Ferozepur Jhirka. The project also includes strengthening 6.84 km of existing roads in Malab and Bhadas villages in Nuh district.
