NHAI plans flyover projects in Assam

The National Highway Authority of India is all set to start the construction work on various flyovers across multiple locations in Assam involving a combined investment of ₹1,191 crore. In Phase-I, six-lane standalone flyovers will be constructed at Raha, Demow, Borghat, Kathiatoli junction and a road over bridge (ROB) at Jagiroad at ₹459.33 crore covering a combined length of 12.09 km under Bharatmala and EPC model.

Apart from this, other flyover projects that are in pipeline under the same Bharatmala Phase include a six-lane flyover at Bongaigaon, Chapaguri, Pathsala, Simlaguri Chowk and Baihata bypass junction. These projects will also be executed under EPC model at an estimated project cost of ₹732 crore, involving the construction of a combined length of 6.33 km.
