The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has invited bids for the Kalimandir-Dimna Chowk-Baliguma (Jamshedpur) section of NH-33 in Jharkhand. The project will be undertaken on a Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM) and is expected to involve an investment of ₹1,425.34 crore.

The project scope includes the construction of a four-lane access-controlled greenfield highway, as well as the rehabilitation of existing pavement, construction and/or rehabilitation of major and minor bridges, culverts, road intersections, interchanges, and drains, among other works. The concession agreement and its schedules will also be part of the project scope. Operation and maintenance of the highway will also be included.

The deadline for bid submission is April 5, 2023. The project is expected to significantly enhance the road infrastructure in the region and improve connectivity between Kalimandir and Baliguma. NHAI is committed to developing world-class infrastructure in India, and this project is a step towards achieving that goal.
