The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has invited bids for the development, operation and maintenance of a ropeway project in Jammu and Kashmir, involving an investment of Rs. 104.24 crore. The ropeway will extend from SDA Parking (near Zeberwan Park) to Shankaracharya Temple, covering a length of 1.050 km. The work will be carried out within a period of 24 months, with the closing date for bid submission is December 7, 2023.
