NHAI
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has invited bids for the construction of a six-lane, 342 km expressway linking India's Silicon Valley, Bengaluru, and Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh. The project, which will cost around ₹19,200 crore ($2.5bn), will be executed in 14 packages, of which bids have been invited for four. The expressway, which is part of the Bharatmala Pariyojana Phase-2, will also connect Bengaluru with Andhra Pradesh's Rayalaseema area. The project is expected to be completed by 2026 and will reduce travel time between the two cities by 50%.
